MPC 3000 Saving Problems

Hi people.

So I haven't had my 3000 for too long, and haven't had much time with it yet, but I have noticed a problem I am having which is really holding me up.

I am basically having trouble saving beats. I will mess around and chop some samples up and lace them on a sequence with some drums. So I save the beat, turn off the machine, and turn it back on. I then reload the beat and all I get is the sounds, but the sequence(s) are completely blank, like nothing was ever recorded. This is the case on both the floppy and my cf reader, so I figured it's something I am doing or not doing for that matter.

I came from an mpc 2500 which you could just save all and then it would bring back your beat as it was, all bpm and sequences recorded. But so far on the 3k it seems to be hit and miss. I need to get this sorted otherwise I can't use the machine really.

I have tried messing around with the different save options but can't get it right. Any help would be great.

Not likely.

There is no one step "save everything" or "reload everything" option in the MPC3000.

You will need to perform some multiple save and reload procedures.

This is clearly covered in the user manual.
