MPC 60/60II with a newschool digital recorder

anythoughts on this? would it, or does it sound goofy to have real gritty beats with super crisp vocals? any links to tracks would be great...I have a yamaha AW2816 currently...Thanks!

that's fine. 12 bit vocals aren't the best.
