Noob question

Hi guys,

Sorry to ask such i noob question (its almost embarrasing)...

I have a 3k and im a new user.

I have a program made up with a sample (prog1) and another made up with a break (prog2)

I've laid my sample track (on track one), now i want to lay the drums on track 2, but everytime I switch to the next track and change the program, track one also changes my existing notes in track1 to drums...

I'm reading through the manual as we speak, but if someone could just point me in the right direction it would be great.

Haven't got the exact answer to your question but a simple work around would be just to use 1 program... Put everything on one program.

MPC3000 = Only one program at a time

You could always load a drum program, sequence it and track it.

Then load load up an instrument program, sequence it and track it.

And so on until you have all your sequences tracked out.

Another reason why Dre used multiple MPC3000's at one time = multiple programs at one time.

My shit is mainly pretty simple at the moment. One program will probably do for a while, ive also got the asr10 to midi up to it, so I should be set for a bit now.
