pasting events

so i wanna paste my hihat pattern to another track to make a variation of it, but when i copy and paste the track to a NEW track, i can hear it, but when i go to edit it in step edit, there are no events to be seen ?
i can mute/unmute the track, but there are no events

anyone know whats up with this ?

set the quantize to off and then go to step edit, hit next event. It should show up then. Step edit will step through the sequence at the quantize setting, so if you record something at one setting (16th note swing 66% say) and then switch to 1/16 note swing 50% you won't see the other notes.

yeah i shifted the hihat events forward a notch.. you turn quantize off in timing correction screen ?

im getting a mpc 3000 today!

u gonna love the 3K, its the 60 on steroids. i finally started playing with the filter envelopes and velocity modulation and the depth of sound im getting is crazy. all samples.

im gonna have em side by side, 60 for all my drums, and the 3k for whatever else,

trading some of my synths for it.. havnt played with my synths forever since i got my mpc, so i figure its not worth the suffering with 3mb of sample time to keep em around
