input/sampling problems

All of my mpcs (except my 60) have a problem where one side of the stereo input is much hotter/better sounding when sampling than the other. I have noticed recently that the right input of my 3000 is much worse sounding and quieter than the other. I'm not getting a good stereo image.

Anybody ever have this issue? If you knew it wasn't the cables or the devices it's plugged into, what would you guess the issue would be? the jacks? the caps? Is this something any tech could fix or do I have to send it to forat or someone?

That's becasue the 60 is mono.

Honestly, if all your MPCs are behaving the same way - it has to be what you are feeding them.

Check your source signal.

I've swapped cables, sides, gear etc. it's a tech thing.

Anybody ever do anything/have anything done to fix the inputs on an mpc 3000?

i have the same problem on my 3000,
1 input is hotter than the other, like the left input got lesser highs then the right input.
I have tested it with different cables and different signals, from different sources.

At first i thought that it was only a difference in the stereo signal from vinyl, but after testing it i m sure,
that the problem comes from the input of my 3000.

For me its no big problem, because i m sampling mono most of the time =),
and if i want a signal with lesser highs i take the "bad" input.

My mpc was ckecked by a technician and he didn t solve the problem,
so i m not sure if its an easy repair job, but i m located in germany and here we have no well known service like b. forat.
I m sure he could fix it.

yeah it's a bummer im sampling mono and i got the 3000 just so i could sample stereo (although vailixi kills so hard over the 60 os's)
