I think it has like 16 voices of polyphony. But it's supposed to be a percussion machine so that shouldn't be a real issue. It's enough to do a hiphop track though.

A simple google search would have yielded these answers very quickly though

sonicstate.com
vintagesynth.com

Sites like this are plentiful out there. Do the knowledge.

Thanx for the input!

I been rocking the mpc2kXl for a time now.. searching for a mpc60 now.

But I could do the editing on the mpc2000xl and then transfer the files via floppy
is there any editing possibilitees on the mpc 60?

60 won't read xl snds.

If you get the OS upgrade you can edit wavs on your computer then use the MPC editor to export them as 3000 files which the upgraded 60 will read.

Yes... use your ears.

Other than that you could transfer by wav or zip disk to the PC via the MPC EDITOR program. Using my ears is quicker for me tho...
