Im new to the 3K and I wanted to know if yall know how to normalize or change the sensitivity on the pads so I dont get double triggering.

Also are there any upgrades as far as the OS to allow you to see the wave to edit it?

MPC3000 is nearly 20 years old. They didn't think those functions were necessary or maybe werth implementing when it was designed. Maybe it was too expensive?
So no, you are stuck with trimming by ear, sampling with a hot signal and using the pads how they come.

Try changing the way you tap the pads before you blame the machine for double triggering. When I first started I used to get some double triggers but I soon learned it was just bad technique. If it's still a problem, try removing the pads (the rubber part) and cleaning the gunk that collects in them. Then while they are off, wipe any dirt or grease from the surface of the sensor sheet.

The only other option is to change the sensor sheet but, it's not cheap and this rarely seems to cure this type of problem.
