Hi, i m looking to buy an mpc3000 from the states and use it here in the netherlands. I ve been looking at the options i have regarding the different power/voltage system and wanted to know if any of you guys can let me know

a) what kind of convertor i need and
b) if long term use of this convertor does any harm to the mpc

I really dont want to replace fuses etc but if thats the only way to operate it safe please let me know!

Me too.

However, once after a period of non use I actually forgot my 3000 was a US model and plugged it into the UK mains using a regular kettle-type plug (ie. no step down transformer). I heard something blow and was like WTF???

Fortunately the fuse inside the 3000 did its job and protected the machine from serious damage. The fuse was simple to replace and i soon realised my mistake.

Never had any problems with my 3000 or ASR-10 using a step down converter (240/220-110v). It does what it's supposed to...
