This video was the reason I eventually decided/took the jump and bought an MPC. After reading for months this was a great way to actually see the workflow. Something everyone getting into an MPC should check out.

Bumping this thread for Ian who who came down from Hertfordshire and bought an MPC60 from me yesterday. Bear in mind that these videos cover basic operations and the Akai OS 2.XX. The 3.10 that you have is best used with the updated manual available here...

If you haven't already joined the forum, you may as well. As a newcomer its the best place to find all the info you could ever need, and have a good browse through the MPC60 bible thread at the top of this forum.

Just wanted to say hello and tell everyone thanks for all the great info. I just recived my MPC 60II in the mail yesterday and LOVE it. I have been using MPCs since about 2000 when I bought my first 2000 and the 60 sounds amazing in comparison.... I can not believe I have gone this long without getting one. Now I just need (.... want) a 3000. I will be slinking around here and learning all I can about this amazing machine.

PS. mine came with the sample memory upgrade but no SCSI so I will be upgrading to 3.10 and spending the money on the Marion SCSI board.
