the compatibility wit xp n the 3000 has any1 got this str8 yet?

Oh man do I have to update my copy!!!

im still confused about this.... the MPC EDITOR will allow XP to write and read floppies that can be also read and written in the MPC60 with 3.10e OS??? will it enable the same type of compatability with zip disks??? this subject is pretty confusing to me at the moment... i havent tried any of this out even though i dloaded and installed the demo version of MPC EDITOR already, which is probably expired by now... i havent had the chance to actually see if any of this works since my floppy drive is bad and i have yet to get a SCSI pci card for my computer...

Answer to all in the MANUAL that is in PDF format and included with the trial version of said software.

Mike's latest version of the editor can:

a) format the first partition of a ZIP disk in such that the first partition becomes visible for file transfer purposes within the WIN2000/WIN2K operating system environment.

b) fix the OEM ID of an MPC disk that can some times be scrambled by Windows.

Maybe try downloading the demo version, reading the manual and experimenting with the program.
