So I got an MPC 3000 today. I wasn't sure I was going to get one in the end, but found a great deal!.

Im just getting acquainted, but i find im getting double triggers on every pad. I turned poly off, as some have said can be a problem.

I find it's either when I play pretty hard, or pretty soft. It seems to be every pad, so I can't imagine its a sensor thing. Any ideas? Or is this just the nature of the beast?

You turned poly off in sound parameter menu 2? I don't think it has something related to that double trigger, that most of the time seems to find its cause in the way the user hit the pad. Experiment, try to hit the pad firmly in the center, without let the finger drag on the pad. In a way or another, double trigger means that the sensor has been touched twice! And congratulations for that acquisition! 8)

thanks!!
Yeah im finding that when i wanna play hard, i gotta be on, and then right off again. And softer stuff, i can stick around on the pad. It's interesting

The more there is to this beast, the happier I am :)
