Hi,
Last night I was jamming with a sequence in my MPC3K controlling a SCI Pro one, when all of a sudden it crashed, the display formed blocks gradually and went blank, and all the red leds turned on. Fearing the worst, I unplugged the external scsi and everything else before restarting the machine. Same thing: blank screen and all lights on, no boot.
I've done some research in the forum and this seems like a common symptom. Something very similar happened to me a few months ago and it was solved by changing all 4 fuses inside. I tried the same this time, but my MPC continues in a frozen state. Could it be that I have an electrical problem inside (power supply or blown component etc.) and that the fuses protected the machine last time but couldn't save it this time?
Any ideas where to start trouble shooting?
Any help would be greatly appreciated...
