I use his Ensoniq disk tools and it works well enough for that kind of business. In the case of that app though you need to run a Win 98 boot disk and the floppy has to be internal or no dice.
The owner Garth is very reachable although he's a bit odd at times. It took 28 back and forth email responses to simply get him to tell me what my unlock code was as his software did not show it on my screen. He said I was wrong and his server showing it was proof. I was like no I'm not lying and after 28 of these emails can you just tell me the unlock please? (which he then did).
Bottom line he's willing to talk to customers so I would just reach out to him with any questions you may have. He sells them as downloads and that was another 35+ back and forth email. He eventually caved and sent me the physical disc but it took 3 months of arguing. The download was fine, I just wanted what I paid for. (prices include DL and physical copy)
BTW -KVR has plenty of threads on his products.
