Floppy drive to USB emulator

I just saw this on eBay and wanted to know what your thoughts were on this working in an mpc 2 or 3 k.http://www.ebay.com/itm/Floppy-Disk-Dri ... %26ps%3D54

They have some cheaper then this one. I figured if it would work in a asr 10 why not a mpc. Anybody tried this yet?

Limited to 1.44MB?

Not much use with up to 32MB RAM, is there?

Appears to be the same GOTEK emulator discussed here. If you request the manufacturer model number/ part number that will confirm or rule out my suspicion. The one discussed already appears to be cheaper, but ships from the land of the rising sun which explains the lower cost.
