They're not the same thing. I won't go into detail because there are several threads here discussing why some card readers do and don't work with the 3000. If it says it works with the 3000, then check with the seller to verify. The one from MPC-STUFF won't work because they do not sell card readers for the 3k like clint said. Also, the link was incomplete, so an item didn't pop up on the first link that you posted.

In your new link is a SCSI CD Rom, not a card-reader. And, no it won't work with an MPC3000 before you ask. Do you actually know what you're doing?

Regarding the other post, I respect your opinion but this are still 2 different things to me:

1) Hi guys, where can I buy good drums samples sampled through mpc 3000 for mpc 3000..!?

2) Hi, there's any site where I can download professional drums samples sampled through real drum machine like tr808, 909, 707, dmx, ecc.. to sll 4000 or neve desk to mpc 3000?

..sampling through an ssl or a neve is different to sampling only through mpc's to me.

Its still not a card-reader, buy it if you don't understand. You will find out the hard way.

Your other thread was locked because in essence it was a double post, and it was in the wrong forum too. Keep all of your "where can I get...MPC3000 samples" posts in one place, don't make another thread when you think up a new variation on the theme. I knew that it was not a card reader, I was asking to be shure even if mpc 3000 was not in the options..!

you never know if someone could make mistakes around so I prefer to ask one more question instead of trust everyone at first answer..

Your thread is about card readers, yet you have said nothing at all about card-readers. I cant see what this is all about, so I'll leave you to your own devices. Good luck.
