I'm about to purchase a Numark tt200 turntable to sample vinyl with the MPC3000.
i wonder if I need between the two : a dj mixer console (vestax, gemini) to bring the signal to the mpc3000 through it ?
Thx fro ya help.

Between the Turntable output and the MPC3000 line input you will need an RIAA level matching device.

This can be:

a): A stand alone turntable pre-amp, EG: ROLLS make one.
b): A DJ mixer, EG: VESTAX, RANE, A&H, etc.
c): A HIFI pre-amp that has a turntable input and a line output.

These devices above serve to match the low level output and specific RIAA EQ curve from 99% of cart/stylus combinations into a line level signal compatible with the your MPC3000 line level inputs.

Most folk will pick option (b:) above.

Choose that which you fancy.

Cool ... Some times you don't even know that a solution is right in front of you until advised accordingly.

Good luck with option c.
