SOMEONE PLEASE HELP, WHAT HARD DRIVE TYPE IN THE MPC 3000??

Ok so I've searched threads and cannot find anything about hard drives and which ones work, I know I need a 2.5" scsi hard drive but what type? Ide right? And will 44 pin work with a 2.5 to 3.5 adapter from artmix?? That specific one has jumper settings on the adapter he sells, or can I just use a 68 pin to 50 pin connecter that's like $5? I've been on mpc3000.com but it doesn't go Into detail on what type of 2.5" scsi drive, and the way that one looks it's a scsi 50 pin, which are obsolete all I find is ide / atapi 44 pin or 68 pin and 80 pin 2.5" hard drives in scsi. And do the drives have assignable jumpers for ids? Or just set it up for slave? Been racking my brain on this !!!!!!!!!!

The MPC3000 does not have an IDE interface, it only has a SCSI interface.

You can not use IDE/ATAPI devices in an MPC3000 without a SCSI-IDE bridge in-between, to convert the SCSI protocol of the signals from the MPC3000 into the IDE/ATAPI protocol required for an IDE/ATAPI device.

A simple electrical adapter to make the cable fit will not work.

Thanks simon, but what about an scsi 2.5" floppy drive? Say like a 68 pin or 80 pin , then use a adapter down to 50 pin? Or do they have to be the narrow 50 pin style like mentioned in another post?
