MPC60 FORMATS

Are ther any other formats the MPC60 can read? Like if i bought a disk off ebay that says S900 disk, would that work in the MPC60? If this works, what other things can the 60 read? Can it read MPC3000 disks?


I just found out my S20 can S1000/1100 sample disks.

If you have software version 3.10e you can load MPC3000 sounds.

So if i buy a sound disk for the 3000 (im havin trouble findin 60 disks) it will work in the 60?

Yes and no. The MPC60 will not read the same high density disks the MPC3000 will. You will have to read them and then write them to a MPC60 double density disk. I think you could use MPC Editor to do this, but I have not done it myself. I don't have any MPC3000 disks to try.
