From what I see of it - its basically a more advanced version of 3.10 especially quantization wise and editing. Some people have been selling it online, and I even saw a 60 on ebay a little while back with it installed so it seems pretty legit function wise

Vimana 3.15 being Rohan's beta OS, developed with permission (and source code?) from Roger Linn...an MPC60 version of Vailixi.
Elixer 4.0 being the name/version number given to it by those online sellers, previously, when trying to pass it off as their own work.

Well it appears to be a Beta version sold illegally by someone who didn't code it.
I don't imagine support will be good and it's a bit expensive for stolen goods.
Do you really need it ?
Legal issues aside, there's nothing in the list posted by Clint I want.
It doesn't offer enough improvement over 3.10e to make it worth the upgrade for me.

Only this function looks atractive to me:- Samples can be edited / processed while the sequencer plays or records

Ya the editing seems cool and its only about 50 bucks. Also, there isn't any real proof or concrete evidence that Elixir is Vimana so as far as you know its legal. With that being said its not that much better the 3.10 and there's a good chance based on that thread that it is in fact the Vimana. Even though it seems like he was kinda instigated at some points in the thread his overall behavior really wasn't justified for someone who has nothing to hide

It's pretty obvious what it is, hence no website, no warranty, no support and exactly the same features as vimana.
Personally I'd rather put money in rogers pocket since he's been screwed out of his royalties.

It was £80 from the guy selling pirated Vailixi last time I saw it.

I think that's a bit nieve. Seems pretty obvious Wolfgang or lehleh didn't code this or buy the rights to sell it.
It's only sold by people selling pirated copies of Vailixi.
It's not marketed in anyway like a legit product.
You don't get support.
It's exactly the same as Vimana.
As you say, the person behind it sure did act like he had something to hide in the other thread.
None of that points to these being anything other than Virmana.
