Are any companies beside forat, that install Zip Drives in MPC's??

Some computer shops may be able to install a zip drive for you. I got one tryin to install a zip on my S20 right now.

The S20 does not have SCSI.
It may be possible in the Remix16, if it has the SCSI option. The Remix16 is essentially the same machine.

Yes the Remix 16 does have scsi support, the only question is, why?!

Were you sayin why does the Remix16 have SCSI or why am i tryin to get a zip for my S20?
The zip is goin to be internal. Theres no SCSI on the S20. But I have em trying to replace the floppy with a zip. Because It originally had 1mb of memory, and floppys save 1.4mb. Thats alright, cuz its just for when im somewhere with a lot of records and no mpc or eps, i can just get the samples ready. But i decided to get the 16mb memory upgrade. And now i cant save anything over 1.4mb. So im tryin to get a zip drive in there so i can.
See where im goin witht this?

The Remix 16 has a SCSI expansion board. THe one I had didn't have it, but it had the space for one. The board itself cost more from Akai than what I paid for the machine, so I didn't get it.
That piece was a nightmare to use, I hope the S20 is easier. Do you make music on one?

ya,
the Remix16 has like the weakest sequencer ever... i didnt really know much when i was using one though, maybe it was me... i couldnt figure out how to record one track and play that track while recording another one... i dont know, maybe i was just too noobified to work it right, but it definitely limited me, therefore i say it sucked...
