Before yall complain that I'm asking a noob question I already switched local mode on and off/track on and off/etc...it was working fine b4 I hooked up a korg electribe via midi to it now when I assign sounds to pads[I'm using OS 3.10] and press soft key 1[play] I hear the sound fine and it gets assigned...but when I press the pad its nothing???I disconnected the electribe but to no avail...help me please

Did you assign the sound to a pad? Program > 1.

Dude, you Really need to read the freakin manual. It will help a lot. Print it up and take it to work or something.

thats the problem i cant take it to work with me im standing all day dealing with rich snobby people who will snitch on my minority @**in a heartbeat... trying to read that manual and figure out which parameter is wrong is torture... id rather learn it hands on thru trial and error than spend days/weeks seeking out one small problem

your definition of "learning hands on" = "lemme ask this board everytime one little thing goes wrong without using logic and process of elimination or experimenting to try and fix it myself"

Get your hands dirty. Put in some work. Figure it out for yourself.

Read it on weekends, you'll thank me later.

Could be a program change, check sounds . 1 and see if PGM 1 is selected.

you'll waste more time figuring stuff out than it will take to read the manual.
