hi all, maybe I'm missing something - I can get my 3000 to trigger sounds from my external sampler (henceforth known as ES), but the issue is, that in order to be able to hear the samples triggered from ES, the MP track needs to be set to 'DRUM' rather than 'MIDI' - so currently, I play in my drum hits that way, but then, when playing back what you've just recorded in, you hear the corresponding sound triggered from the MP pads, as well as the one from the ES...
this can be solved by then switching the track to 'MIDI', and then you only hear the ES sample playback, and not the MP, HOWEVER, if you want to add in an extra part, or even just audition an extra sound from ES, it means switching back to DRUM mode in order to here it, and therefore, you also have the MP sounds triggering again, while you attempt to play in the next part..
I have local mode set to 'off' in the midi page BTW.. obviously I can work with it as is, it's just annoying, so wondering if anyone else has found a way round this?
thanks in advance!
