I know the issue has come up several times over the years, and every thread I looked at ended without resolve. So I ask, did anyone ever solve the "hot-swap" issue?
I've got a A549 drive here that I've been **** with for weeks. I've yet to find a jumper configuration that allows me to hot-swap floppies. Im beginning to wonder if these 2mb HDD units (A2xx, A4xx, A5xx) are not able to due to the way the 3000/S950/60 is setup.
If anyone cracked the code, please, chime in. I'm at the point now where I'm ready to throw the towel in and just use zip or a floppy emulator solution.
