Pad sensors from a 2500 in a 60?

Do the sensors from an akai mpc 2500 work in a 60mk1? They seem to be dead and i got a spare part for the 2500 in stock. So if it works, why to buy a new sensorsheet.

You may want to compare the connection ribbons on both to see if they line up. That way you'll be able to find an answer.
