I recently got mpc60 with 3.10e OS
I also got 3.15 eproms too but not installed them yet.
After reading posts about 3.15, i'm kind worried about its stability, lags and etc..
I've read some mpc60 not functional after installing 3.15.
I have used mpc3000 with vailixi several years ago before selling.
I liked its improved features such as 'copy zone to snd' etc.

I would appreciate 'copy zone to snd' and 'editing sample while sequence on'
but does 3.15 have rock solid timing like original 3.10e? am i too worried about nothing?

MPC60 doesn't have "solid timing" at any firmware version.

I did use 2.12 for a while then switched to 3.15 because of SCSI.
Apart from having the new functions it does perform exactly the same.

BTW. Copy Zone to SND isn't as that useful with 1.5M RAM.
You would be better by recording separately all percussion parts.
