Man, Im going ape sh*t on this thing. I can not believe that It's been collecting dust for 8 years, no use. I remember putting it down cause the sequencer was not great, and I wasn't ready.

It's been kicking it for 8 years, patiently waiting.

Tonight, I sequenced my first beat(with the 60). Back in the day I only looped sh*t on the 30. It took a couple nights, I got this sh*t down again, sampled some sh*t etc... Had a cool sequence of sh*t going until I knocked the W30 plug and lost all my sounds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I need to get me the system disk so I can start saving my sounds.

This thing is pretty crispy.

If it wasn't for elmacaco I would have sold the w-30(for dirt cheap)
Man, I was so stupid, I just cant believe it.

I ONCE WAS LOST , BUT NOW I'M FOUND.

Go to www.synthzone.com.
Go thru the Roland pages.
There are a couple W30 support sites.
I found a W30, S550, S330 CD with lots of important stuff on it.
I believe there are OS disk files saved too.

Peace.

man the w30 sounds hot. I used to own one-- but i could never figure out the sequencer -- if i am not mistaken you can't make patterns like on the mpc? I think it had a linear sequencer right? i could be wrong but I just got mad frustrated and sold it. It was like rocket science to work it. Maybe i should have had more patience.

the reason why I stopped using the w30 was cause of the sequencer. But with the 60, dam, its all good now. If wasnt for Elmacaco and his showing me the possibilities, my w30 would be at some pawn shop. I'm looking forward to the w30-60 connection.

Also, I am toying with using my sp303 with my sp12, I havent used the 12 as a sequencer yet.
The 60 is dope. They run cheap too, I saw one for like 300$ with the scsi.
