MPC 3000 PAD ASSIGN PROBLEM

Hey hope someone can help me out on this.

When I assign a sample on Pad A1 it automatically puts the same sample on pad B1.
if I go to pad B1 and try to put another sample there it automatically changes the one on A1 ..

Same goes for PAD A7 and PAD A9 which share the same assigned sound no matter which of the 2 i change ..

Anyone know what the problem might be here ?

I'm running VAILIXI.
