opening the beast

i gotta open up my mpc3k to max the memory, i cant find instructions in the manual, i dunno how to get the sidez off to get access to the screws ?
could anyone tell me how to do this ?

there is 8 total screws surrounding the parameter.. like 2 on each side the top will flip up, but b very careful bro. dont wanna disconnect any wires.
the memory slots are located right under the transport area.

i dont see any screws, i assumed they are under the trim which has little slots that i could fit a knife into, but so far prying on these things done seem the way

No, the screws are on the base of the unit. Doesn't seem like the screws would attach to the unit, but they do. Hope this helps before you damage the unit with that knife.
