How to asign Fader to the Filter on the mpc3000

hey guys,

got a question:
i already asign the fader to the filter in the asign menue,
also pressed the after button, but the filter doesn´t respond.
any idea?
ps: the fader is working when tuning is choosen.

It should work from what you have described, maybe silly question but have you set the filter on that pad to something other than start point as it may not be noticable, test it on tune and other options to help narrow it down, possible broken fader if all that fails?
