MPC 60ii Midi to MPC Live

I would like to start using my MPC 60ii sounds/samples as a ‘Sound Module’ triggered by Midi on the Live and am having problems. I can play the sounds from the 60 on my Live pads but they will not record into the sequence/Live.

I have the 60 synced up and believe I have all the parameters right on both machines via their manuals. I am stumped. Wonder if anyone can help me troubleshoot this issue.
