Recording Automated mixes into the MPC 3000!

I'm just learning how to use the Automated mixing in my MPC 3000 (Fade in Snare rolls, Hi hat etc.) Does anyone use the Automated Mix function there MPC 3000?? Have you been Successful at Fading Sequences out at the end of
song or say Fading Beats in or out of Songs?? Help me out!!!
