Share your knowledge on these two classic MPCs

Not to romanticize the machine, to put it on a pedestal or nothing like that, but despite its limitations, I’ve become attached to it too much to ever switch. Not entirely sure what that’s all about. Is there something wrong with this? My personal bias of this is probably amplified by the fact this was my first mpc.

I still use other instruments and tools of course, but I use the 3k as my main compositional engine. And I still don’t feel I’ve completely mastered it after seven years.

ONCE u have something that works, don’t switch the tools just switch the recipes. I only got rid of my roland MV b/c it was not portable & the HDD died 2 times & I lost hours of work ;-(

I will be using the MPC LIVE mk1 for the next decade. I don’t care what AKAI drops next year.
