How Can I convert mpc 3000 seq.files to mpc 4000 format

How Can I convert mpc 3000 seq.files to mpc 4000 format without individually recording midi data into mpc 4000 for each individual seq. ?

Are you saying that the MPC4000 has no feature to open the *.SEQ files of previous incarnation MPC machines ?

I talked to a rep at akai and he said that the mpc 400 will read the samples but not the prg. or seq. files

I'm not a MPC4000 user.

Having said that though ... I can't believe AKAI would leave out this kind of function on their flagship.

I know the MPC1000 has some limitations on certain import capabilities.

The MPC4000 though ... come on ... ?
