I'd still go with an oxidized connection... but great job!
The most likely parts to go will be capacitors... so it might be worth replacing them over time, especially anything in the main power circuit, as that is the most possible spot to really fry something from failure. Replacing capacitors in the audio line might be beneficial as well, as it may improve your signal to noise ratio, but if you love how it sounds right now then it's probably fine to hold off.
