Hey everyone.. Just a question, so I'm trying to transfer all my drums into my MPC3K (Vailixi) on the SD drive, however when I try to save the sample on the disk and convert it back to wav on my PC the pitch is doubled.
How can I prevent this from happening?

I've attached a demo of what I'm talking about.
Check it out here.

Sample rates. Check the properties on your files before transferring.

Your machine only plays certain sample rates.

Check the differences, check files specs.

@lampdog the sample rates are all fine, same 44.1kHz, so after I sample from the MPC3k, I save it onto the SD and take it out and have my PC read the SD. I read the file and the samples are doubled in speed. Whereas when I play the same file on the MPC the playback is fine.

I've also noticed, when I load the sound into my MPC the filesize is twice as large as when I go to view it on my PC. :/

Edit: Also, when I convert it using wav2snd.exe it doubles the pitch, however when I use translator it keeps the pitch but I can only save it to mono.

Where the **** is the option to save it to stereo?

The pc’s sample rate of the program your using. Check that too. If all sample rates in programs, machines, sample files were the same you wouldn’t have speed problems.
