Should I Buy an Akai s3000xl to use with my MPC 3000??

I thinking that I use Should buy a s3000xl for Time stretching and compatibility issues,Since I won't be buying a Mac until sometime in 05' and
I already have an s950, But I really Need the time Stretching and Editing,are there any alternatives?? Btw,can I dump my MPC 3000 Samples into My S950 to stretch them and then bring them back into my MPC 3000 thru MIDI???

I was thinking along the lines of midi Dump in the s950. Still a No Go??
