MPC 3000/Mac Compatibility

Hello All! New to this forum so I apologize if this has been asked and answered. I recently purchased a 3000 and while I wait for its delivery I’m looking into anything else I may need. In attempts to avoid using floppy disks, I was considering getting this SD Card Reader for more storage as well as being able to organize my files on my computer.

My computer is the Mac Studio that has a SDXC slot on the front. I was wondering if anyone had any experience/success with being able to use the SD card in the reader from mpcstuff.com and the newer macs and being able to transfer files from one to the other.

Also there shouldn't be any compatibility issues, you're just reading an external drive.

It‘s not that simple...
the Mac writes a lot of „rubbish“ to whatever external media is connected for it‘s housekeeping. If you remove those files manually, it will repeat the process.
(such files may or may not disturb MPC operation)
