Hey Hey
So I finally got myself an MPC 60 MK I in good shape.
I have installed the latest os 3.10 from Roger Linn and added new LED screen.

In my first few days of sampling with it I have noticed 2 things from recording.

When the audio tails off there is a build up of artefacts as if the noise floor is becoming more prominent - I gather that this is the 12-bit grit?

Secondly - when triggering sounds despite adding decay and carefully trimming the samples there is a noticeable click suggesting the end of the sample past the silence despite the previous treatment.
It almost sounds like the VCA is closing and wanted to check whether this is normal behaviour for this machine? I had read on an old post here that 2.12 OS does not have these issues
When you has a minute it would great if someone confirm whether this is the case as went to great lengths to get Roger's new OS over to the UK. I love the new features and layout but not so much the clicking

Peace

If it clicks on samples with not a lot of mids and higs… I think this is normal. I have heard this on multiple 60s

If it’s happening on every sample, there must be something wrong.

I get this clicks mostly with low pass filtered basslines with lots of sub info.

My 60 has this.
All basslines I’ve done, had to declick in DAW.
I once tried messing with the trimmers but heard no improvement.
