To all,
I have a MPC 60 fully pimped out and expanded hardware wise and
software wise.
I have three questions that I would love some help with if possible:
1) I sequence my drums and samples on the MPC but, for portability
purposes there are times when I have the need to dump the midi into
Logic Audio. Is there a way to dump my midi data or record the midi
Data being played from the MPC into Logic Audio? I currently use MTC
to sync Logic with the MPC.
2) I find that on certain samples, mostly my kick drum samples when I
hit the pad hard my drums splatter. It's kind of hard to explain but
basically at harder velocities my kick drums completely either
splatter or they get this hard slap sound on them. Now most of my
sounds are sounds that were samples on another unit and imported into
the MPC. I don't know if this is relevant. This is driving me crazy
though because I constantly have to go back and lower the velocity on
my kicks to keep them from splattering.
3) Is there any way for me to make volume changes from my PC on the
MPC? I would like to be able to control the MPC's volume from Logic
Audio. I am able to control the MPC's velocity but it's not per track.
It's the
overall velocity output. I need to be able to control each tracks
volume.
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks,
Yusef
