mpc editor + win XP: do-able?

search function didn't yield much info on this, or maybe too indirect info.

anyways, i'm thinking of upgrading to XP from '98. it's been TOO long and i'm also looking to get an iPod which doesn't work with '98.

i read something on here about the editor not working with XP but on 3000's site it says the updated version of MPC editor does work with XP: http://www.midicase.com/mpceditor/

are you guys using XP and MPC editor with a 60 together just fine?

i have the 3.10 upgrade on my 60 II.

i have xpi and an mpc 60 I the editor works fine. Make sure u have a zip disk pci card. I tried to plug the zip disk into my printer port until I figured out it needed a special type of card

Yes it works great, make sure you check the xp zip formatter option in the editor to get your disks compatible, and use a transfer disk Just in case.

and get that scsi, you'll love it!
