Whus up y'all,

I read on MPC3000.com, that you can install an internal SCSI card reader in the 3000, and now I wanna do it. My problem is that I can't seem to find an internal SCSI reader anywhere. I've looked on Ebay, but the either they aren't SCSI or they are the one of the models that "won't" work in the 3k, as reported by midicase.com Have any of you done this modification ? If so, where can I go to purchase the card reader ?

Ahoy Matie! We are in the same boat.

I performed the 2000XL card reader mod and I was looking to do it on the 3K, unfortunately, midicase.com reported that the 47-B wont work in the 3K, and, for the life of me I cant find any of the other PCD models.

So that lead me to the zip post that you answered. Thanks for your answer. Im going to install the zip tonight and cross my fingers.

Maze,

I just found bought an internal SCSI card reader off eBay yesterday. Midicase mentions Intermart, but Intermart is now Microtech. Try searching Google or AskJeves for Microtech PCI DPAI-SCSI PCMCIA PC Card reader/writer. This is the same one that the guy at midicase installed in his MPC3000.

Peace.
