Hi From NZ!

This is my first post here.

I have just recently upgraded my MPC60II with the Ver 3 software. Everything seems fine except for the behaviour of the buttons above the HH decay slider. For instance when I press the "Full Level" button it sometimes plays a sound or goes to the erase menu or seems to input a number into the current cursor position. Only occasionally does it do what it's suppose to do when you press it. The other 3 buttons have the same problem.

What the! :?

Does anyone know about this problem? Is it a bug? Are the new EPROM's faulty. Are those buttons faulty?

I didn't have this problem in ver 2. So I guess the buttons aren't faulty.

I would check the ribbon connector mounts inside your MPC60MK2.

Maybe you dis-lodged one of them slightly when fitting the new eproms.

Removing and re-seating the ribbon cables should do it.

Try also to re-init parameters on your MPC60MK2 in an effort to put things "back to factory".
