how long did it take you to learn your MPC60?

just got one yesterday, in the process of trying to devote my free time to learning the ins and outs of the machine... before this i spent alot of time with my ASRX and reason on a mac.

anyway, i'm hoping that in a couple weeks i will be making some hot sequences. spent several hours with it last night and got some basics down but i have a long way to go...

how long did it take you to learn the 60?

Not too long to get the basics down, but it really has a lot to offer and you kinda grow into it.

Read the manual, read this 60 forum all the pages back, you'll learn a lot, but most of all, use the machine as much as you can!!

I read the manual and this forum before I even got mine. That and my XL experience made it easy.
