60 and pt sync quick question

i got everything synched up via midi beat clock in protools, the 60 is receiving the signal and its pretty much locked, but when i record, the data is coming in a little behind... iie, hit note repeat on 16ths they are a little behind the grid, i searched the board but found a million different things that werent what i was looking for, any help would be much appreciated.....

from what I've heard, folks put an empty bar on the PT grid and then record. This will make up for the latency or whatever its called because the beat starts and records on time after the empty sequence has been passed...
