i heard that an upgraded MPC60 is the same as the MPC3000LE...i knwo they have the same structure...but when it comes down to it....how can this be? I've played with the 3000 but never the 60.....let me know...cuz i knwo the 60 is usually cheaper and can be upgraded for prolly less? am i right by saying that?

no, the OS is the same, but the differeces are
60 vs, 3000
12 bit vs 16 bit
26.2 seconds vs allot more
no filters/effects vs filters and effects.
no vga out / vga out.

that's about it

The MPC3000 also

Has a larger sequencer memory.
Has a digital sampling input.
Has 32 simultaneous playback voices versus the MPC60's 16.
Has true phase-locked stereo sampling.
Has built-in delay effects.
Has a high density (1.4 megabyte) floppy drive .
Individual output levels in mixer can be individually adjusted.
CPU runs 2.5 times faster.
Standard SCSI port.

the 60 can adjust the indi output levels individually.

the rest, you're right, nope.

"Individual output levels in mixer can be individually adjusted. "

I got that from Roger Linn.

oh yeah, I am working from the 3.10 OS, the stock 60 probably can't.

Nope, that's from 3.10 notes.

Must have been a mistake.

I am mistaken, Sorry about that. THe mixer in the Individual outs screen controls the echo send levels.

Sorry about that, 3000, you are the master.
