Anybody ever use a Emulator II?

Ive been looking up on this, it dont look too bad. I thinks an 8-bit SP12 with more memory and keys instead of pads.

Anybody got any experience with one?

It sounds nice, but not like an SP12. It's got better tuning algorithms so there's no distortion like on the SP. It's also super huge and there is no rack version.. and you need 5.25" disks.

But that said, it's inspirational to work with and has a fair amount sample time and filter controls. It's waaay better than, say an ESI32.

Those things are LUSH, beautiful. I think Marley Marl used one for drums back in the day. They can be had cheap, If you have the room you could do worse.

i got some room right now, i might try and find one cheap just to see how it is. I know i could sell the thing if i don like it after. ill post somethin up if i get one of these though.

you need an ober module to play the samples on the 5 in floppies. It is extremely heavy. clean the insides when u get it and make sure the chips are in their sockets. it has analog filters

yea. i just got done readin some biographies on both of them. Shit is crazy. People just sayin all the bad shit castro done but nobody mentions all the good shit he's done.

Castro has accomplished more than any other living world leader IMO, the fact that everyone is Cuba is literate and educated, not homeless and children don;t die of cureable diseases in Cuba shows that he's doing something right and we the richest country in the world prefer to have more billionaires than getting real healthcare to our citizenry. What's funny is we could get everybody who's living below the poverty line up to is for 60 Billion. And nobody does it, I think one pres candidate ran with that on hi plat form.. That's half of one military plane and they lost 100 billion over in the middle east, just like, oops, where did that money go, sorry, its gone, it was hear a minute ago. How someone doens't get shot for that is beyond me, and no one is getting fired over that either.

back to the e2, make sure you have enough space, a couple of square miles should do it

but about the e2 though. I just was lookin at some specs on it. I thought it had the same sequencer as the sp12. I guess it doesnt though. And im hearin only bad things about the sequencer. I was tryin to use it as a standalone. Im not real sure now.

get an sp12 for stand alone fun.
