Card Reader install for the 3000

Ok here it is:

I have all the parts/hardware to perform Mike Goins SCSI card reader install on my 3000. Hell, I've got the exact same reader as the one on mpc3000.com.. Anyway, my question is about the power cable that goes to the floppy drive, so here goes:

I know I am supposed to modify the floppy drives power cable by clipping off the white connector that attaches to the floppy drive itself, then splice it into a 5V IDE/ATAPI power cable. That all makes sense.. BUT, I need to know if I am supposed to connect all four of the wires from the old floppy connector, to the new 5V IDE/ATAPI cable, or do I only use two ? Two, meaning power and ground. I sent an email to Mike Goins askin the same question, but I thought I'd post it here as well. I'll wait to hear back from y'all before I start the install.

Nevermind, I found the answer to the question. I went to www.mpc3000.com, and looked at the pics that Mike posted in his ZIP drive installation tutorial.

Turns out that you do need to connect all four of the floppy drive's power leads to the 5V/12V leads, which is slightly different than the 2kxl. I'm doin the install tonight, and I'll try to post some pictures of the final product.
