Can anybody hook me up with the contents of the original four floppy disks that came with the 3000, or can anybody tell me where to get it, (for free)? thanks; an upload would be much appreciated

These "factory free supplied disks" are in the files section of yahoogroups mpc3000 list.

I got these from the site, but how come when i load the program in MPC Editor, only a few samples are assigned to pads, and the rest are ignored or not recognized. [/quote]

Anyone nkow where I get theses besides the yahoo group? Because those in the yahoo group dont work. You have to extract them with a program that has no support from the creators. XP wont let the prog recognize DD disk.

Maybe that will help? careful, registry stuff can mess up your computer bad.

You'll also note my reply in that yahoogroup.

I'll be uploading a fixed version of the files some time this weekend.

Probably later tomorrow.

Patience is a virtue.

Thanks,

You can find them on the MPC2000XL Vol.1 CD-Rom in .wav format.

Should be easy to find that freely or on the actual CD.
