I think this litltle "beat battle" is getting a little bit too serious. It was supposed to be for fun I gathered. Now I see why we don't have these anymore. Seems like some dudes are catching feelings then you got dudes wanting to withdraw and ish. It ain't even that deep to me. There is'nt even any criteria for the battle I mean I thought it was on some post up what you think is hot and see if other cats think so too, not personal vendetta or nothing like that. It's cool man next time cats should be specific. Drumatic, even said he thought it was only going to be for 3000/60 users? I'm saying though Elmacaco had the best point this really should be in the "My Music" forum. These never really pop off anyway so I should be kicking my own azz for even trying. No sweat though, everybody had some heat in my opinion, in one way or another.

peace,
D. James

hahaa

yeah it aint that serious. but i wanted to see how this all panned out.

alot of catz are rolling through but they not votin so... i dont see how it could be much of a battle without voters.

but anyways it wouldve been kool to see who wins.

I hope you ain't talkin about me. I ain't caught no hard feelings over nothing. This is fun to me. I withdrew because I wanted to battle Drumatic from the jump but it didn't pan out like that. Sh*t me and binger went at it...it was fun and we should do it again but we'll just have to see what happens when the polls close.

Problem was it was a failed plan before it started.
Should have come up with rules and procedure before you started.

Some suggestions:
1) select 5-11 respected members to judge, need odd number to prevent tie and at least 1 should be a moderator.
Everyone would be free to make comments but we aren't trying to elect a president just share, so you need to have a small honest core of voters .
2) you should only allow a person to enter one track and they shouldn't be able to hear the tracks others submit until all have been submitted.
One the voters have closed the submissions then they can be heard by all for comments and opinions.
This is a battle so you should bring your best track not best excuse, choose your weapon and then use it.
You shouldn't be listening to what someone submitted and trying to do better, bring us your own inspiration or stay home.
3) taughting would be acceptable, challenging someone to submit would be acceptable but respect would be a requirement. Loss respect you get thrown out the game.
4) tracks should be limited to 60sec, that's more time than an AR person would give you to shine so no long intro, get to the heat.
Would make them quicker for people to hear because they are small MP3's, but get you quality up to the best you can, if it can be heard that helps a lot for your case.
5) if it was at least made in 2005 don't submit it, that Nah that was some of my old sh*t you should hear the new stuff aint gonna work as an excuse
6) Tutor could Pin you name to the top of the forum for 30 because you were the winner

Just some suggestions, but you can't play a game without some rules.
