don't get me wrong i'm not trying to do roger out of dough but if you had one of these could you burn 3.10 eproms or am i just delirious after my 3.10 FINALLY arriving from route66? (oh and only a £26 'processing charge' on top :x )

From what i have heard, the Read pin on the OS chips is blown so you can't just read out the data from them. it might be possible, but it isn;t as easy as say copying linn drum eproms, Roger certainly went a god length to protect himself. if it is possible, it is probably pretty difficult.
no idea about that particular machine veing compatible with the Eproms needed either.

i have to say even though it took 3 MONTHS the package i received was legit, came packed in huge box with two original (as far as i can tell, don't appear to be copies) printed manuals, a pack of 5 disks with 808 kit etc and the 4 chips. I would have settled for just the chips in a padded envelope marked "GIFT FROM GRANDMA" to avoid the 50$ import fee, but what the heck, nice to have the manual and 3.10 at last.

Be interesting to know if route66 have actually finally "sold out" - they MUST have by now, but given the lack of organisation in this transaction i wouldn't be surprised if that had a box full of them somewhere in the back and just can't find it...
